Single row angular contact bearings from BTC are designed to incorporate a larger number of balls than in comparable deep groove versions, allowing for a greater load capacity.
With an open shoulder on either the inner or outer ring, these bearings are designed to support thrust loads in one direction. They can also accommodate high radial forces and single direction axial forces simultaneously.
Angular contact bearings are also available as double row bearings, able to accommodate axial loads in both directions as well as high radial forces. Their configuration corresponds with that of two single row bearings in a back-to-back arrangement and are especially suited where space is at a premium.
As with deep groove ball bearings a wide range of materials, components and accessories are available to tailor the bearing to application requirements. Designs can be either open or sealed depending on requirements.
